nature and i are finally in harmony.

amazingly enough im pretty sure i went 28 years of my life without ever having gotten stung by a bee or wasp etc.  well the streak is dead and im totally okay with it.  last friday i finished before lunch unusually early and so i had something like 30 minutes to kill off before id head over to the masjid.  i decided i needed to blow off some steam and i chose to do so by heading over to a walking trail in the area.  i brought along a book ive been reading and got settled on a bench under a tree.  well at some point i decided to put the book down and observe the trees blowing all around. apparently that bothered some bee because right then i felt a sharp prick in the palm of my hand.  as soon as i looked down i saw it fly away from my hand.  streak over.

i'll pretend the bugger was giving me a high five.
