Last night I decided that I would be awesome and clean my ears with some ear drops I got from the store only a few days before. I've heard from several people not to use q-tips cuz of the irritation it cause to the ear canal and potential for injury. so i decided to give the drop a try. i have a feeling something went wrong when around midnight my left ear started to kill me. it got bad enough that my head, left eye, throat, and jaw all seem affected on the same side. sleep was not exactly easy after that. i tossed and turned all night and i was totally regretted the drops. in the end i grabbed a q tip and tried to see if some of the drops didnt wash out or something. eventually i got up and tried washing my ear out. another mistake...as soon as the water got in...sharp pain. anyway now i took some antibiotics and pain meds considering this may be an ear infection caused by myself. im going to have to get this checked at some point tomorrow. until then i will continue to try to adjust my pillow to find a position that hopefully minimizes the pain.
