early birds are overrated

last night after enjoying and relishing in a brilliant performance by cliff lee and the phillies, i went outside to get my camera out of the car. it needed to be charged. well i got it out and headed upstairs to my room to get the charger and hook the battery up to it. as soon as i finished i noticed something moving around on the floor. a worm. an earthworm actually. poor thing was trying to burrow into the carpet in search of soil i guess. well i felt sorry for it and took it outside. hopefully it survived. and hopefully it didnt get eaten by birds! wait, birds are gone right?

...anyway back to food network.

Just finished rubbing my eye and a few quick thoughts before bed...

First, I cant wait for tomorrow. It may very well be the beginning of the Phillies defense of their World Series title. After decades of hardship and woes, this is just so much fun to watch.

Now I have had many thoughts I wanted to share but I think it got to the point that I accumulated so many ideas that they all canceled each other out. And who knew canceled was spelled with one "L?" Point being I don't even know why I logged anymore. Well I know why I am logging out...sleep!

sore eyes

Still so not used to this place. Saq and Mur must be settling in too. Ahh the excitement. I'll still keep an eye on xanga. That's how I got famous.

I'm at work waiting for my patient to get numb. Fun times yankin em out.

I should share a story to avoid being too boring right off the bat. Yesterday I was prepping a tooth for a crown and when we do that we always place a temporary crown for the patient to have in the meantime. Well I was cutting and shaping the temporary one when a piece of metal went flying into my eye. At first I blinked it away and felt good and finished. Afterwards, another story. I scratched my eye and now it feels like something is in my eye constantly. In fact that's what I thought was the case yesterday and I grabbed an irrigation syringe and fired water all over my eye. I had snot and tears and water pouring out because of it. Eventually, I realized something must be wrong and now I'm applying some ointment in my eye that was prescribed to me. It's like an eye cream. Nice. The temporary crown fit great though!I think that eye has contacts on.
