see a part of me was slightly apprehensive to ask openly because i didnt want to embarrass myself if it was something that everyone should know and does know...minus me of course. i initially asked a good friend or two who are growers. one laughed and said dont worry about it. so then im thinking its for crack and im not supposed to know about that... but then again there is NO way that friend does crack. then i ask a little cousin of mine but the problem with that was it was ibe and he said that it was his "scratching claw." wtf? so i assumed only ibe maintains a scratching claw. (he must have had a serious itch?) well, now its public and screw the embarassment. why should i be embarrassed when im clean and groomed?
my online research told me it could be some chinese good luck thing. okay...but i know a lotta chinese people and no one i knew was growing one. so while it may be true... i assume it could also be something like the typical "blame it on the chinese syndrome." i hope not...but you never know. the syndrome i refer to is basically when people say weird traditions/foods only come from china...like people in china eat cats or something. messed up.
of course, as i mentioned before it could be crack related. nothing like snorting coke from the under side of your grimy nails. adds flavor. not that crackheads care much for sanitation but crap does get under nails and the longer the nail the more crap. thats my philosophy. so while im sure its a blast to get high, why risk getting a head cold from inhaling microorganisms from your finger nails? its high price to pay. even if it is for crack then why do so many people who dont snort crack grow them too?
so as it stands now my understanding is this. crackheads for crack. chinese for good luck. and other people to flip pages while reading a book. now if its a chinese crackhead who likes to read then that nail is pretty damn awesome. especially if they are like ibe and occasionally get a serious itch. scratch away ibs.
i thought about putting up a pic of a long pinky nail. made me wanna throw up.
