punjabi has funny words

i still remember playing in our old house with my sister.  we were playing something with some kind of rope or yarn.  im not sure what the point was but we needed to tie a knot according to my sis.  anyway, i was anywhere from 3 to 5 years old and that was the first time i heard the word knot.  i thought it was the funniest word ever...had me cracking up .  i wasnt even sure what a knot was, but whatever it was... it sure sounded funny.  more recently  i was going through some punjabi words with a friend.  you see we try to improve our vocab and fluency by talking in punjaabi and at one point neither one of us could recall the word for family.  ulaad kept coming to us but we were pretty sure that was urdu.  (one of the problems with living in a home where both urdu and punjabi are spoken is that sometimes you lose track of which word is which language)  well we asked my friend's mom and she said "tubbur."  once again i found myself laughing hysterically.  and btw..."tid" sounds pretty funny too.  (that's punjabi for stomach for the non-punjabi folks).  and so it is my observation that punjabi has funny words.

I whispered gently to my dying router,
The world is much different than here at home.
In fact Nate Wayne is hurting too.
They cannot be the ultimate goal.

Older sister is using my computer in my room,
I have tried over and over to connect.

Basically, it is a really nice cue stick,
I shall test them out later.
