I'm at work waiting for my patient to get numb. Fun times yankin em out.
I should share a story to avoid being too boring right off the bat. Yesterday I was prepping a tooth for a crown and when we do that we always place a temporary crown for the patient to have in the meantime. Well I was cutting and shaping the temporary one when a piece of metal went flying into my eye. At first I blinked it away and felt good and finished. Afterwards, another story. I scratched my eye and now it feels like something is in my eye constantly. In fact that's what I thought was the case yesterday and I grabbed an irrigation syringe and fired water all over my eye. I had snot and tears and water pouring out because of it. Eventually, I realized something must be wrong and now I'm applying some ointment in my eye that was prescribed to me. It's like an eye cream. Nice. The temporary crown fit great though!
I think that eye has contacts on.

You blogged while with patients? Tell me you at least left the room.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you talking to your patients while they are under anesthetics. "Fun times" I bet...lol.
