Nine Inch Nails...

...Or not exactly but I definitely don't like long nails and I hate clipping them. It makes for a tough life...ahh the plight of the human condition. Well last weekish I finally got sick of having to clip them so often and its been like that ever since I stopped biting my nails long ago because of braces. I decided if I cut them really short I would not have to cut them for a while and so I grabbed a clipper and got to work. I cut them damn short. Big mistake... my fingers were hurting! Every root canal and filling I did reminded me of that. And the worst part is it only delayed the chore a day or two. Nothing like sharing stories of grooming.

In other news I installed a small door chime in one of my offices that I work late in. Basically, at night no one else is really there since its like 7 or 8 and I keep the hours just for a few patients who need to come in really late. So I figured instead of being surprised by someone intent on beating up a dentist, I'd prefer to hear a chime alert me that someone has come in to kill me. I got this little electronic chime thing from home depot and while the chime itself work okay it had an interesting little statment on the back. Something about installing that on a hotel room for security. All I'm saying is that anyone who needs to install a chime on hotel room for security reasons has got to be one shady, shady character. And I'd like to shake their hand for living such a shady life. Don't worry, I'll wear a glove.

  2. sorry about ruining your surprise grand opening. i'm currently working on a q2 schedule and i NEEDED to pretend like i had communication with the outside world. i was actually deciding between a couple places to move to, saq recommended this one to me...told me about the move. i didn't know what yours was called. now i do.

do you happen to know if there's a rule about using other people's nail clippers? i sorta wanted to ask one of the nurses yesterday if i could borrow hers, but i didn't know if that were just wrong.

BTW mur, you can't ask someone for their clippers. Well, at least nobody's every asked me to bite their nails for them.
