yesterday my uncle swapped cars with me so he could move out my cousin from college and ive been cruising around in their car and of course using the car radio at the same time. i figured i would just use the preset buttons to switch stations and as i flipped through buttons 1 through 6, and then bands FM1, FM2, and FM3 i realized there was no logic to the presettings. in fact no one used FM2 or FM3. they were still factory preset stations mostly. the FM they actually used was just seemingly randomly set to stations they like to listen to but not in any order.
but now i wonder. am i the only person who organizes presets?
i used to preset them by stations in numerical order but that ended about a month ago after years of having to switch to FM2 to listen to 104.5... which is obviously pretty high on the dial. so now i do it in the order of my most commonly listened to stations in the order i listen. convenient and organized.
NPR, ESPN radio, Rap, Rap, Rock/Alternative, Indie. how hip hop and rap stations got in there twice is a mystery.
