burn out or fizzle, the fun always ends.

damn.  i may hate window wipers but i sure love electric shaver animations.  theyre little cartoons.  im talking about the kinds that come on commercials to show how close the shave will be.  its so informative and you can see each blade cutting one hair at a time.  ive actually liked these commercials since i was a kid.  in fact, back then as soon as i saw a commercial was for a shaver id look forward to the cartoon part.  my all time fave was the one in which the hair would get pulled up, shaved, and then dropped deeper inside the skin to leave your face amazingly smooth.  i doubt it was able to perform such a miracle.

personally, i do not like the shavers.  they mess up my skin.  they never show the part when im bleeding in the animation.

and unrelated to all that is the fact that last night was another bizarre dream night.  well all i know is that it was weird.  it may have been depressing even.  good thing i dont remember it well.

And not a poem today but a quote:

Herein lies the tragedy of the age: not that men are poor, -all men know something of poverty; not that men are wicked, -who is good?  not that men are ignorant, -what is Truth?  Nay, but that men know so little of men. (The Souls of Black Folk, W.E.B. Du Bois)

i cant believe that i was never required to read this book at any point in my education.

  1. The best shaving commercial is for the pocket shaver in which a guy submerses in a pool and starts shaving to show the shavers..um well, I dunno what it proved, but it was hilarious.
